Amtrak also offers promotions with United Airlines and Carnival Cruise Lines. Information about timetables and special fares is available directly from Amtrak. By Bus Greyhound offers discounts on seven-day advance bookings plus a 50% discount on a companion ticket for three-day advance purchases. Travel On A Weekday: fares are often priced lower for Monday through Thursday travel.
By Car By far the most popular way to reach Florida from other states is driving. Interstate highways make the cross-country journey a breeze, allthough it still taks two days to drive all the way from New York and at least three days to drive from the West Coast.
