Where to stay in the Everglades

Apart from two organized campgrounds and a hotel at Flamingo, park accommodation is limited to backcountry campgrounds. In most cases these are raised wooden platforms with a roof accessible by boat or canoe. The town of Homestead offers several comfortable hotels.
